PHP Software Engineer (Laravel/WordPress Specialization)

 We are seeking a talented PHP Software Engineer to join our team and lead the development and maintenance of our web-based applications and platforms. You will have the opportunity to specialize in either Laravel or WordPress development, leveraging your skills to create robust and engaging web experiences.

  • Laravel Specialization:
    • Design and develop custom web applications using the Laravel framework, ensuring scalability, security, and exceptional user experiences.
    • Create and maintain RESTful APIs to power dynamic web applications and integrations.
    • Implement elegant solutions within a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture.
    • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide ongoing support for Laravel-based projects.
  • WordPress Specialization:
    • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins, extending core functionality to meet project requirements.
    • Work with WordPress's REST API to integrate custom features and third-party services.
    • Optimize WordPress sites for speed, performance, and SEO.
    • Maintain and secure existing WordPress installations.
  • General Responsibilities (Both Specializations):
    • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
    • Adopt best practices for testing and debugging.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in web development.

Responsibilities

  • Deep proficiency in the Laravel framework.
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin development.
  • JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • experience in PHP development.
  • Experience with MySQL or other relational databases or NoSQL

Must Have

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher
  • Passion for software products
  • Perfect written English or Bahasa Malaysia

Nice to have

  • Both Skill Laravel or Wordpress
  • AI Integration
  • Update on new technology stack
